The Decentralized Direction of Culture of Cusco communicates to the operators, agencies and tourism guides, and to the population in general that, due to the problems generated by the Coronavirus worldwide, the entrance tickets to the Inca city of Machupicchu The Red de Caminos Inka of the Historic Sanctuary of Machupicchu, which will not be used on the date of the visit, may be changed in date and / or visitor data during the 2020 fiscal year without penalty.
In the case of free visitors, they are required to send an email to callcenter@culturacusco.gob.pe, specifying the reservation code and requesting a change of date and / or data (full name and document number) of the visitor, up to one day before the date of visit stated in the ticket.
In the case of travel and tourism agencies, the following must be submitted through the DDC Cusco Reservations Office:
- List of cancellations up to one day before the entry date stated on the tickets.
- Request for change of date attaching the entrance tickets and indicating the new date of visit.
For the change of data on tickets, an affidavit must also be presented by the legal representative of the travel and tourism agency stating that the amount of the entrance ticket has been fully refunded to the original visitor. These changes will proceed depending on the availability of spaces.
The refund of the cost of tickets for cancellation of visits to the Inka Road Network and the Inka City of Machupicchu, will be made at the express request, by physical or digital means, of the visitor.
