DDC–CUSCO & CEA Cooperation

On November 14, 2022, the DDC of Cusco of the Peruvian Ministry of Culture and the CEA of the University of Warsaw signed a a framework agreement on international technical cooperation, with the aim of establishing an alliance that would allow the pooling of efforts and available resources to foster the development of scientific studies, as well as archaeological research and prospection, within the National Archaeological Park of Machupicchu.

The signing of this agreement is the result of joint and interdisciplinary work that has made a substantial contribution to scientific and archaeological knowledge of the various monuments located within the sanctuary. Likewise, this cooperation has made it possible to continue developing high-quality research on the material cultural values of the PANM.
